MEET TAYLOR MOORE

Taylor was born and raised in Louisiana, where he attended Louisiana State University with scholarships in both undergrad and law school. While attending law school, Taylor earned a membership on the Moot Court Board and served as Chairman of the Moot Court Tullis Competition. He was also honored with the Gene Hearn Memorial Scholarship for outstanding academic performance and received three CALI Awards for being the number one student in Civil Law Property, Business Transactions and Negotiable Instruments, and Labor Law. In addition, Taylor was published in the Journal of Maritime Law and Commerce and was selected to serve as research assistant for Professor Wendell Holmes, who authored the definitive treatise on Louisiana business organizations.

After graduation in 2006, Taylor worked in New Orleans for oil and gas production companies for several years before moving his career to the Ozarks. It was here that he turned his attention to business transactions and litigation. Later, he was hired by Polsinelli in Kansas City, where he worked on complex real estate transactions. While in Kansas City, Taylor was elected as a member of the Board of Directors for the Lawyers Association of Kansas City, YLS and is currently a member of the Springfield Metropolitan Bar Association.

Taylor now practices in Springfield, Missouri. In his spare time, he enjoys being outdoors with his wife, Lakyn, his daughter, Lily, and his Doberman Pinschers, Dante and Cersei.
